Configuration 1
The Thereforeâ„¢ Server and Thereforeâ„¢ Web Access are not installed on the same server as Microsoft SharePoint. The Thereforeâ„¢ Crawler and Thereforeâ„¢ Client must be installed on the Microsoft SharePoint server. Or, in the case of a Microsoft SharePoint farm, these need to be installed on each front-end server.
Configuration 2
The Thereforeâ„¢ Server with Thereforeâ„¢ Web Access is installed on the same server as Microsoft SharePoint. In this case the Thereforeâ„¢ Connector must be installed on this server.

By default Microsoft SharePoint uses port 80 for hosting a Web Application and hence the Default Web Application in Microsoft IIS will be disabled. You need to reconfigure the port of the Default Web Application to use another port, for example, 81 for hosting Thereforeâ„¢ Web Access. |
