The security settings either grant or revoke a user/groups ability to modify policy settings. This includes the ability to move categories to/from the <Buffer Cache> to a specific storage policy.

Group and user names:

Users and groups can be added and removed.  

 

Permissions

Permissions can be allowed and denied.  

 

Administrator

Allows a user/group to create, modify and delete policies.

 

Read permissions

The user/group can read the security settings for this object.

 

Set permissions

The user/group can modify the security settings for this object.

 

 

Inherit permissions from the parent object

Permissions will be inherited from the parent object.
