Therefore™ 2010 is shipping now, and includes the following new features

Parallel Workflow

Parallel workflow is a powerful feature that enables a workflow instance to be split into parallel paths and then later merged again. This supports the following concepts. Splitting into different paths that are processed in parallel, for example, a manufacturing process where multiple tasks need to be completed concurrently.
A single task that needs to be processed by multiple users, for example a contract that needs to be approved by multiple managers.

Capture Client Watched Folders

The Capture Client now allows processing of documents via watched folders. The process can be fully automatic. Alternatively processing can be triggered simply by opening the Capture Client.

Manual Document Linking

It is now possible to manually link one or more Therefore™ documents together. For example, an order, an invoice, and a delivery note all pertaining to the same project can be linked, making searching for the related documents much easier. Maunal links are created by simply dragging documents from the Therefore™ Navigator hit-list into an open document in the Therefore™ Viewer.

Automatic Document Linking

It is also possible to automatically link one or more Therefore™ documents together. This can be done when the documents have matching index fields: when the values in the two fields are equal, a dynamic link is automatically created. This means that not only new documents will be linked, but also all exsiting documents with the same index values. This feature is ideal for existing customers as no updating of existing documents is necessary.

Regular Expressions

Regular expressions can be used on Text fields to ensure that index data matches a required format. (e.g. Email addresses).
Practically this is used to ensure that when documents are saved to Therefore™, the index data is correct.

Therefore™ Web Access

The user interface and functionality has been revamped to align it more with the standard versions of Navigator & Viewer.
