Qu’est-ce que la Privacy Amendment Act (loi modifiant la loi sur la protection de la vie priv\u00e9e) ?<\/h1>\n

Le Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches) Act 2017 a \u00e9t\u00e9 promulgu\u00e9 par le gouvernement australien pour amender le Privacy Act 1988, la loi initiale r\u00e9glementant le traitement des informations personnelles des individus. La loi \u00e9largit le champ d’application de la confidentialit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es personnelles pour les r\u00e9sidents australiens et s’applique pleinement \u00e0 partir du 22 f\u00e9vrier 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Le r\u00e9gime de notification des violations de donn\u00e9es (NDB) introduit l’obligation de notifier les personnes dont les informations personnelles sont impliqu\u00e9es dans une violation de donn\u00e9es susceptible d’entra\u00eener un pr\u00e9judice pour les personnes dont les donn\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compromises. La notification doit inclure des recommandations sur les mesures \u00e0 prendre en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la violation. Le commissaire australien \u00e0 l’information doit \u00e9galement \u00eatre inform\u00e9 des violations de donn\u00e9es admissibles.
