Noise words are words that are ignored when indexing. These include words like: "a", "the", "and", "therefore" etc. In some cases you may need to edit this list, for example Therefore Corporation does not see "therefore" as a noise-word! It is possible to both delete and add entries to the list, but please note that you will have to recreate the full-text index.
1.In the Thereforeā¢ Installation directory, there is a subdirectory called "Language\Stop". This directory contains many ".dat" files, which are pre-defined noise-word lists for different languages. These lists can be customized by deleting or adding entries in the active list (this corresponds to the language selected during installation).
2.Open the Thereforeā¢ Console and select the Full-Text menu and then Rebuild Index. The index will then be rebuilt using the new noise-word list and the language set in the full-text advanced settings.

Be aware that the changed noise-word file will be replaced during an upgrade process, so in this case the file needs to be copied and replaced again after upgrade. But, you will not need to rebuild the index again.
