1.In the Thereforeā¢ Solution Designer, right-click on Indexing Profiles and select New E-mail Profile...
2.Provide an intuitive name for the new e-mail profile.
3.In the Filter field, define what information should be extracted the monitored emails' properties. Click the three dots icon (), click Objects... and select a Mail Object from the list. Click here to see more information on mail objects. Click OK to save the changes or Cancel to return to the previous menu.
4.Next, specify the Category the extracted data should be saved in. Clicking on the three dots icon () next to the Category field opens the Category Selection dialog. Select a category of your choice and click OK to save.
5.Next, customize the information that should be extracted from the email body in the Script field. Click on the three dots icon () next to the Script field to open the Script Editor dialog. Click Objects... to select from a list of objects and or add an advanced script using the Common Script button. Click OK to proceed.
It is possible to add scripts in either JavaScript () or Visual Basic Script (). Select the preferred scripting language by clicking the script language button. |
6.If auto-append has been configured in the category properties, then the Auto-append mode can be specified as different to the category default.
7. Now, the category's fields can be matched up. A number of standard e-mail fields are available in the drop-down list, but assignment and error handling using scripting is also possible.
8. Click OK to save the indexing profile.
