Grant Permissions on Index Fields |

It may be necessary to restrict permissions on a category's index fields. For example, a contract status should be read-only. However, at one specific workflow step, this status should be able to be edited.
This can be done by granting extra permissions on this index field on the Index Field Permissions tab.
