The following enhancements and changes are part of the Therefore™ 2022 release.
Performance Enhancements
•Added a new advanced setting 'Max. Rows to fetch from DB' resulting in significant improvement in search performance for queries that return huge result sets.
•Support for Windows Server 2022 and SQL Server 2019
•Upgraded ODBC driver to v17.8
Security Enhancement
•Shortened lifetime of one-time tokens returned by the GetJWTToken call of the Therefore™ WebAPI to 30 minutes in a breaking change to the Therefore™ security infrastructure
Client and Application Compatibility
•Added support for Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 2021 to all installed Therefore™ clients
•Added support for integration with Kofax Power PDF Advanced (v4.1)
•Support for eSignature providers HelloSign and SignSmart
•Added support for Thai user interface for Therefore™ client applications
Authentication and Single Sign-On
•Added support for using ADFS with OpenID Connect to connect to Therefore™
•Allowed login with UPN names, e.g., someone@therefore.net
Therefore™ Dynamic Web View
•Enabled access to all linked objects – such as cases, workflows, tasks, etc. – in the Therefore™ Dynamic Web View UI
•Added option to view specific versions of a document, i.e., an old version (document history)
•Added the option to open a document in a new tab and have multiple documents on screen at the same time
•Added document preview to case document panel
eForms
•Migrated user authentication from the classic Therefore™ Web Client to the shared SignIn Service created for Therefore™ Dynamic Web View. URL embedding in eForms can now be constructed using the following template: http://<WebClientBasePath>/TWA/eForms/#/embed/<FormNo>.
Therefore™ Smart Capture*
•Added use of supplier database as a referenced table to help the Therefore™ Smart Capture recognition process (data matching)
•Added a configurable retention period for documents uploaded to Therefore™ Smart Capture with 12 months set as the default value
Therefore™ Workflow
•Enabled exporting documents to an SFTP folder using the workflow export task
•Added the option 'Image PDF' to the Convert Document task
•Added parameter allowing the user to customize the size of stamps
Therefore™ Solution Designer
•Introduced a default value which shortens database results and could reduce the number of rows returned to the client
•Increased speed of Import/Export actions and added support for exporting retention policies, dashboards, and using a category as a referenced table
•Indexing profiles: Added an additional setting to define the behavior of the AutoAppend function allowing the user to either 'Keep existing index values' or 'Overwrite index values'
