A cross category search template provides the means for users to search across multiple categories. For example this can be used to retrieve a whole customer file: all orders, invoices and delivery notes of a certain customer.
Creating a search template is similar to creating a category; however, since no documents are actually stored in a Cross Category Search Template, their field properties differ.
The Administrator can set up generic field names that can easily be matched to the actual category fields in the Therefore™ Navigator.
Right-clicking on the Cross Category Search Template opens a context menu.
New Search Template...
Create a new search template.

View and edit role-based access for anything below this node.
Right-clicking on a specific cross category search template opens another context menu.
Open Search Template
Opens the selected search template.
Open Search Template for Copy
Opens the search template dialog as a copy of the selected one. This is useful when creating a new template that is similar to an existing one.
Delete Search Template
Delete the selected template.
Export...
Export the selected template configuration as an XML file.
