Custom tasks can be written as a dynamic link library and executed automatically by the system. For example, to send a document for signing. |
Name
Name of the task.
Duration
For automatic tasks this can be left at 0.
Type (read only)
This is by default set to Call DLL.
Edit...
Displays the Automatic Configuration dialog. The COM Classname can be specified. (e.g.: TheTask.SendMail).
Settings
Opens the Settings dialog to populate details of communication recipients.
The DLL must be registered in both 64-bit (for the Workflow Engine/Server) and 32-bit (for the Thereforeā¢ Solution Designer); the DLL will require a /codebase parameter for registration. In both cases, the system will need to detect the file in its registered location using RegAsm (from C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\... and also from C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\...). The project must then be built with the "Sign the Assembly" option to allow for the DLL's invocation. |

Select a DocuSign template.
E-mail subject
Enter an E-mail subject or populate one from the list of Macros.

Select a macro from the list of index data fields to populate the Email subject.
Define the recipients from the category's index fields:
Table to indicate a list of DocuSign recipients.
Add
Add recipient's details.
Remove
Remove recipient's details
Up
Position the recipient's details further up in the list.
Down
Position the recipient's details further down the list.
Set signing order
Checkbox to confirm that recipients should receive a signing order to view and sign documents through DocuSign.
Docusign...
Open DocuSign account directly via default browser.
Text Fields...
Specify pre-defined DocuSign text fields.
Add
Add a pre-defined DocuSign text field.
Remove
Remove a pre-defined DocuSign text field.
Role
Enter the name of the recipient's role.
Name
Enter the recipient's name.
Macro...
Select recipient's name from the list of index data fields.
Enter the recipient's E-mail address.
Phone
Enter the recipient's phone number.
The recipient's entered phone number should begin with + and the country's code (e.g. +1 for the USA, +44 for the UK, +43 for Austria etc). |
