The Thereforeā¢ Content Connector is used to automatically save information to Thereforeā¢. It can monitor input folders, mailboxes and even a DocuSign account. Using an indexing profile, it can extract index data and then save a document or case to Thereforeā¢. Before we get to some use cases, it may be useful to understand the technical background. Regardless of what is monitored, the following components are always required:
1. Indexing profile
This defines what should be saved to Thereforeā¢ and where the index data should come from

1.1.3 An empty document (form)
1.1.4 A new case
1.2 Where should the index data come from?
2.1.1 PDF, XML, Text, CSV files
2.1.2 An existing Thereforeā¢ document

2. Thereforeā¢ Content Connector profile
This defines what should be monitored and which profile should be used to process the incoming files.

The following apply to using the Thereforeā¢ Content Connector with Thereforeā¢ Online: •Documents are uploaded to the Thereforeā¢ Content Connector using an FTP connection. Connection details and credentials are provided by Therefore Corporation when a Content Connector license is activated on a Thereforeā¢ Online system. •Each tenant is restricted to one FTP account to use for uploading files to the Thereforeā¢ Content Connector. |
