Thereforeâ„¢ includes predefined roles with specific permissions that can be assigned to users and groups working on Thereforeâ„¢ objects.

It is also possible to create your own customized roles.

How do I create a new role in Thereforeâ„¢?

1. In the Thereforeâ„¢ Solution Designer, go to Access > right-click on Roles > select 'New Role' to open the Role Definition dialog.

2.Add a name and description for the new role and set the permissions from the list of check-boxes.

The new role is displayed under the Roles node in the Thereforeâ„¢ Solution Designer.

This role can now be assigned to users and groups working on Thereforeâ„¢ objects.
