Edit Document Classes

A document class is the technical format of a document type (for example PDF, ALF, DOC, etc.) and is used for maintaining the document type. SAP NetWeaver® provides standard document classes and the maintenance view V_TOADD for adding new ones. Usually, SAP NetWeaver® is already equipped with most document types as these settings are part of the standard installation. In general all required document classes will be defined by default.

To add or edit Document Classes navigate to Edit Document Classes under Basic Customizing.

1.To edit an exiting doucment class click on the Display/Change icon (Ctrl+F4). To add a new document type click New Entries. Once done click Save.
