Clients Connecting via XML

For clients connecting via XML a transfer folder needs to be specified.

note

•For share- and security-permissions: we recommend removing permission sets for all users/groups EXCEPT administrators.

•To use an XML Transfer Folder in a multi-tenant environment, some settings in the XML Web Service configuration file need to be changed. Please see to the Multi-Tenancy manual for more details.

1.The user running the Therefore™ XML Web Service and the user running the Therefore™ Server service need Full Control of this folder.

2.For installations where the Therefore™ XML Web Service is installed on a different server to the Therefore™ Server, the folder needs to be shared and the user running the Therefore™ XML Web Service and the user running the Therefore™ Server service need Full Control of it.

3.The location of this folder then needs to be specified under the advanced settings in the Therefore™ Solution Designer.
