Storage Policy Name

Name of storage policy.

Primary Storage

Select the primary storage from the drop-down list.

Backup Storage

Select the backup storage from the drop-down list.

Prefetch documents to local cache (checkbox)

On migration all documents in this policy are copied to the server cache.  This was an issue on old slow storage devices. For current storage devices this is not recommended.  

Note: in systems with multiple servers, the dialog is slightly different. In addition to the options for primary and backup storage.  It is also possible prefetch documents from one server to another.  See the tutorial Activating Pre-fetching for Multi-server Systems.
