Default for Archive Immediately in Drag & Drop

This button lets you choose the default archiving mode for Drag & Drop operations.

If it is active, the default will be Archive immediately. Documents that are dragged and dropped will be saved immediately. If it is not active, the archive dialog will be shown after Drag & Drop operations. The default can only be changed permanently in the mapping, but it is still possible to change it temporarily in the Drop Zone options.

Deactivating Archive immediately by default is extremely useful if a mandatory keyword is configured in the target Therefore™ category. The archive dialog will automatically be shown and allows you to choose a keyword.

For mandatory keywords, the dialog will prevent you from saving if no keyword was selected.
