Mobile Device Management (MDM) is an industry term for the administration of mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablet computers, laptops and desktop computers. MDM is usually implemented with the use of a third-party product that has management features for particular vendors of mobile devices.
Therefore™ Go supports MDM on iOS and Android devices. Configuration settings for the app can be pushed to all managed devices over the air in one go by the company’s IT administrator.

Mass deployment tools usually provide the option to download the binary directly from the store. There should be no need to get the binary/APK directly from the vendor in order to upload it into the mass deployment system manually. It is highly recommended to apply this approach since new versions of the application will be available in due course as they are published in the stores. Updates can be managed by the customer without the need to contact the vendor of the binary again for each new version. |
