Reports give you an overview of the business processes handled by the Thereforeā¢ system. Thereforeā¢ supports creating reports with the following third-party applications:
•Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
This module allows highly customizable reports to be generated for many different types of business information. Reports are configured in the Thereforeā¢ Solution Designer and can be viewed in the Thereforeā¢ Navigator, the Thereforeā¢ web clients, or on the Thereforeā¢ Mobile App.
The Reporting module is based on Microsoft SQL Server Reporting, so the Reporting Service must be installed. A link is established between this service and the Thereforeā¢ database. Report definitions (.rdl files) and subscription information are saved in the Reporting Service. Reports are created by the Reporting Service and then saved in Thereforeā¢, whether per ad-hoc request or scheduled as part of a subscription.
In order to manage this module in the Thereforeā¢ Solution Designer, the SQL Server Reporting Service must be correctly configured.
Installation: Configuring SQL Reporting Service
Finally, settings need to be defined in the Thereforeā¢ Configuration Wizard.
