The Document Loader can typically be used for two different scenarios:
1.Importing a batch of files to Therefore™ where the index data is contained in an accompanying XML, or TXT based file.

Example: the Therefore™ Export Utility is used to export a group of documents from one Therefore™ Server and then the Document Loader is used to import the files onto another Therefore™ Server. |
2.Migrating a batch of files from a folder structure and extracting the index data from the folder and file names.
|
Example: a marketing department has their files saved in a folder structure. However, they would like to transfer their files to Therefore™ without having to manually index them all. |
