Right-clicking on a category tab opens a context menu for setting 'Properties', 'Control Properties', and 'Security' (Role-based access).

Properties

Click this option to format, define visibility, and set a condition for this specific tab. These settings override the ones in Control Properties.

 

Properties tab

 

 

Name

Give the tab an intuitive name.

 

Background color

Set the tab field's background color.

 

Text color

Set the tab header texts background color.

 

Tab color

Set the tab header's color.

 

Visible (checkbox)

Determines whether the tab field is visible or not.

 

Formulas tab

 

 

The tab is visible if a specific condition is met. Define that condition here.

Use these settings to format all tabs in this category.

 

 

 

Caption

The name of the tab field (not an individual tab).

 

Tab Style

The visual style of the tab header. Available options: 3D, Dots, Flat, Microsoft OneNote, Rounded.

 

Field ID

The tab field's unique ID in the Thereforeâ„¢ database.

 

Tab Position

Determines the position of the tab headers; either above or below the tab field.

 

Visible

Determines whether the tab field is visible or not.
