Categories and case definitions are the primary means of document classification within Therefore™. When a category or case definition is created, one or more index fields can be added using a GUI based design tool. These fields can then be filled when a document is saved or a case is created. Then, when searching, the search can be narrowed down by entering specific index field values. The recommendations below refer to categories, but in most cases apply directly to cases, as well.
