The following recommendations apply when exporting documents from iWDM.
•To increase export performance, make sure the export location is on a different drive than the cabinet.
•When exporting a cabinet with many documents, a Folder for failed documents should be configured. All documents that failed to export will be copied to this folder, making it easier to find and correct the faulty documents.
•When exporting documents from deep iWDM folder structures or when using long iWDM folder names, it is recommended to check the box Use Short Folder Names.
•To export documents from iWDM folders containing more than 10000 documents (not including documents in sub-folders), check the box Exceed iWDM Export Limit. This temporarily changes a registry key and restores it to its original value after export.
•If document annotations should also be exported, check the box Export Annotations. Please note that this will slow down image document export considerably.
IMPORTANT NOTE: •When exporting annotations, the registry key below MUST be changed. If not, all annotations and highlights will be exported in black and highlights in any color will act as a redaction. If the registry key is changed, the highlights will be exported in gray and not redact the highlighted information. •Change the value from 0 to 1 in the registry below: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon\CanoBureau Workgroup\Registration" "UseCustomBrush"Â <--Change this value from 0 to 1. •Reboot after changing the value from 0 to 1. |
