The merge task is used to merge together parallel paths that were previously split. The merge task can also be referred as an “AND-Merge” which means that it waits for all outstanding workflow tokens to arrive before merging. Only when all tokens have arrived, does the merge execute and forward the resulting token to the next task. |
Name
Name of the task. Appears as the task name in the Workflow Designer.
Duration
For automatic tasks this can be left at 0.
Type (read only)
Task type is set to Merge by the system (read only).

Clicking the Edit button opens a dialog where it is possible to configure the merge task; the user can define when the workflow should continue.
