The Thereforeā„¢ Portal is a platform for sharing documents with external users via the web. The Portal can be embedded in a website and customized to fit the look and feel of your company. The Portal is very secure because it allows external users to access only their own documents on a read-only basis. This means external users can only view and download their documents. An administrator can add new Portal users and control their access permissions via the Thereforeā„¢ Solution Designer. The configuration of the Thereforeā„¢ Portal can be broken down into three major steps:

 

1. Creating category or case searches to view certain documents.

2. Creating Portal users in the Thereforeā„¢ Solution Designer and assigning them specific searches and viewing settings.

3. Embedding the Portal into a website and sending out login information to users.
