Reporting with Microsoft Power BI

Data sets containing information from Thereforeā„¢ workflows, categories or cases can be automatically uploaded to Power BI according to a defined schedule. This data can then be used to create reports in Power BI which are dynamically updated.

Creating new data sets

Starting October 31st, 2024 Microsoft has discontinued creation of new real time semantic models. This means that Thereforeā„¢ users can no longer create a new data set in Microsoft Power BI to start uploading data. Existing configurations are not impacted.

 

Microsoft can add organizations or users to an exception list to allow the creation of new data sets. To do so, create a support ticket in the Power Platform admin center and ask for your tenant to be added to the exception list so that data sets can be created again:
