This folder includes categories for storing general documents related to marketing and sales. This often includes information such as price lists, sales guides, brochures, or advertising materials.
In contrast to the other categories, access to the information in this folder would generally not be restricted to certain parties. Assuming no confidential information is saved in either of these categories, these types of materials should generally be available to support all employees in their daily jobs. Hence, unless there is a reason to restrict this information, it’s recommended to give at least Read access to these categories to all users. If desired, it’s possible create a user group called “Sales” or similar, and assign Read/Write permissions at the group level. If required, specific permissions can be removed on an individual level by denying a specific user access to certain information they should not be able to view or change.
