Therefore™ Online Users – Heads Up!

Therefore™ Online systems will also be upgraded to this latest version (v35). Check status.thereforeonline.com to find the exact date your regional Therefore™ Online system will be upgrade to the new version. Please note that Therefore™ Online customers may already have some of the features listed below since they were made available early to cloud subscribers in October 2025.

Therefore™ 2026 brings many new features to the table, including:

 

Webhooks

Webhooks enable real-time notifications between web services, making integrations faster, smarter, and more automated. They provide a powerful new way to build server-to-server connections that keep Therefore™ instantly in sync with your business systems.

• Workflow automation: Upload documents to an AI service via REST; once processing is complete, the service sends results back to Therefore™ via webhook.
• Document download & updates: Third-party systems notify Therefore™ when new documents are available or when document index data changes.
• Supplier synchronization: ERP systems send webhooks for new or updated suppliers, ensuring supplier data in Therefore™ is always up to date.

 

Flexible AI Integration through REST Call enhancements

Connect your favorite AI provider to Therefore™!

• Bring your own AI tools and connect them through a Therefore™ workflow.
• A workflow can upload document text to your preferred AI provider and receive a response.
• Webhooks can help Therefore™ collect responses that require longer processing times.

This ability is enabled by enhancements to REST calls and requires individual configuration within a workflow. Configuration samples will be available to aid setup.

New Therefore™ Portal

The new Therefore™ Portal introduces an enhanced way to work with external parties. With a fully responsive, WCAG-ready platform, it matches the design language of the Therefore™ Web Client for a smooth and familiar Therefore™ experience.

With the Therefore™ Portal:

• External users can download documents and upload them via eForm integration.
• See which users viewed which documents.
• Easily customize and change the branding of the UI; change colors and logos, add messages, etc.

The new Portal is not an immediate replacement for the legacy Portal. Existing Portal users can continue using the legacy Portal.

With Therefore™ 2026, the new Portal will support download functionality only. Document upload and customization will be added in future versions of Therefore™.
