A new version of Therefore™ Online is coming soon!

 

This post will give you an introduction to the main features that will be released with this version. This list includes highlights; a complete list of changes can be found in the Therefore™ Online release notes.

This update applies only to Therefore™ Online. Therefore™ On-Premises customers will receives these features in v35, currently planned for release in Spring 2026.

 

 

Integration with Microsoft Copilot

Get more done using the AI capabilities of Microsoft Copilot!

Therefore™ now offers an integration with Microsoft Copilot, allowing you to leverage AI to gain useful insights about the information you store in Therefore™.

The possibilities are endless, but here are some ideas of what you can do with Copilot and Therefore™:

  • Collect job applications using eForms and ask Copilot to help you sort, analyze, and create personalized interview questions for each candidate.
  • Get answers that help you understand internal documents like vacation policies, emergency procedures, or SOPs.
  • Compare two or more documents and find the differences between them, and ask Copilot to draft a summary to send as an email.
  • Ask questions about a large set of documents within a project and get answers without searching through individual files.

eInvoice Connector

This new connector allows access to a web service in Therefore™ Online that is capable of processing machine readable invoices in standardized formats such as ZUGFeRD, Facture X, and X-Rechnung.

This feature is available only in the EMEA region.

A new task, “Extract eInvoice Data”, has been added to the workflow designer. This task is user-configured and similar to the existing “Call REST” workflow task. As part of a workflow, this task uploads an invoice in a compatible standard to the service. The service returns the extracted data which can be mapped to index data fields.

Passkeys

Therefore™ 2025 introduced two-factor authentication for internal Therefore™ users and Portal users. With v34, internal users will be able to log in to Therefore™ using passkeys instead of passwords.

Login via passkey will be available for installed Therefore™ clients, Therefore™ Web Client, Therefore™ Portal, and the Therefore™ Go app.

 

 

 

Web Client Updates

  • Download dialog enhancement to support configuring default file formats and allow file selection.
  • Move documents to another category, both manually and via workflow.
  • Delete and edit tasks from the task view page.
  • Improved performance for PDF viewing.
  • Direct URL actions: Added functionality to execute a query and show the workflow hit-list.
  • Enhanced expanded table field in index data dialog to make more actions available.
  • UI improvements.
  • WCAG compliance updates.
