Feature Upgrade for Therefore™ Online

by Cono Fusco

Calling all Therefore™ Online users!

There are new features in the Therefore™ Web Client we think you’ll love.

And the best part? These features are already available NOW. No waiting – get right to it and try them out!

As always, you can find a complete list of changes in our release notes. This latest version is designated as v32.3.

Improvements to document and case history

When opening a different document version than the one you’re currently viewing, it will open in a new tab rather than the main window.

In case you missed it:

The features below were rolled out a few weeks ago with v32.2. If you haven’t seen them yet, keep scrolling for more details!

Workflow check boxes

Sometimes, workflow instructions in Therefore™ can be written out as a list of check boxes rather than just plain text. Normally, you would have to check all the boxes to show that the instructions were completed and the task can be processed. However, you may only be able to check off some of the boxes at a certain point without completing all of them. Now, the web client will save the checkbox state (checked or unchecked) if you leave the workflow task before processing/completing it. When you get back to the task, the check boxes will appear just as you left them.

Full-Text Search within a document

When viewing a document in the Web Client, you can now use a search bar in the top-right corner to look for information in the document. It’s just like using Ctrl+F on a webpage.

Out of Office settings in the Web Client

You can now set your out-of-office settings directly in the web client. These settings are used in Therefore™ for when you want to automatically delegate workflow tasks to a defined user or group in your absence.

Added an ‘Auto-Advance’ setting to the user account settings

This setting allows the user to be automatically redirected to the next task in the hit-list after processing a workflow task. This is useful for when you have several workflow tasks in a row to process.

Document history in the Therefore™ Web Client

You now have nearly the same document history functionality as in the installed client. Pull up the document history to view what happened to the document, at what time, and who performed the action.

Don’t forget the others!

We also highlighted other recently released Web Client features in a previous blog post.
