Therefore™ 2025 will be launching globally on the 13th of May 2025. This new version of Therefore™ brings customers the latest information management tools to make you more productive and ensure secure data operations.

 

Therefore™ Online Users – Heads Up!

Therefore™ Online systems will also be upgraded to this latest version (v33). Check status.thereforeonline.com to find the exact date your regional Therefore™ Online system will be upgrade to the new version. Please note that Therefore™ Online customers may already have some of the features listed below since they were made available early to cloud subscribers in October 2024.

 

Therefore™ On-Premises Users – Heads Up!

This version of Therefore™ finally brings you the features that Therefore™ Online users have been enjoying since last October. Check our previous blog post about Therefore™ v32 to see what other goodies you’ll be getting now!

 

 

Therefore™ 2025 brings many new features to the table, including:

 

AI-based Document Classification

Documents can now be automatically classified using Azure Document Intelligence. 

• Documents saved to a classification category are automatically classified and moved to the final category.
• The classifier can be trained based on existing documents in the final categories.
• A workflow will move documents to the destination category.
• Can be used in combination with Therefore™ Smart Capture for automated extraction.

Licensing: Will require a connector license for Azure Document Intelligence, plus a per-page charge for classification.

Two-Factor Authentication

Therefore™ internal users and Portal users can now use 2-Factor authentication with e-mail confirmation. Introduced alongside this feature, an HTML editor can now be used not only to edit 2FA confirmation emails, but any email generated by the Therefore™ system in a Send Email workflow task.

 

Support for Pre-Recognized Data with Smart Capture

Data from a QR can now be used together with Therefore™ Smart Capture. Originally developed to support Swiss QR codes, it enables Smart Capture to recognized data from a broader range of sources.

Licensing: Requires Therefore™ Content Connector OR Therefore™ Capture Client AND Smart Capture pages.

Therefore™ Web Client

The Web Client and eForms module have been significantly enhanced. Key changes include: an updated UI, advanced search, workflow processing improvements, and storage usage for Therefore™ Online.

Therefore™ customers can now pay for their Therefore™ systems on a monthly basis*. Software Assurance is included in the monthly price. Subscription Edition provides similar control and customization as perpetual licensing but with convenient and flexible subscription-based pricing.
