  • Save outgoing documents generated in Business Central to Therefore™ automatically.
  • Drag and drop documents from Windows Explorer into Business Central and automatically save the file to Therefore™.

Use Cases

Capture invoices in Therefore™ and send them to Business Central

All the data captured by Therefore™ is available, such as the line items, item codes, descriptions, quantities, and unit prices.

The connector allows you to add more documents to the invoice and save them in Therefore via the Drag & Drop zone. The document is immediately uploaded to Therefore™ but remains accessible from the link in Business Central.

Once posted, the data is updated in Therefore™ and it’s marked as “posted”. This can be a useful indicator within Therefore™, for example as a trigger to start or continue a workflow process.

Save a Sales Order in Therefore™

Build a sales order in Business Central and get it ready to be printed as an outgoing document.

Once the print request is started in Business Central, a PDF of the Sales Order is created for printing, which the connector also saves to Therefore in the background. This is also possible for quotes, invoices, shipments, and other documents related to ordering and invoice processing.

Manage Customers

When viewing a customer card in Business Central, the Therefore™ area on the right-hand side allows you to drag and drop documents to add them to Business Central and Therefore™.

For example, you can add a service contract to customer card. When the document is saved to Therefore™, the connector collects the relevant information from the customer card in Business Central and maps this to the appropriate index data fields in Therefore™.

Which versions of Therefore™ does it work with?

The Connector for Business Central works with Therefore™ Online. For On-Premises Therefore™, it works with Business and Enterprise editions in systems that are under mainstream or extended support. See the Therefore™ Life Cycle page for more details.

Which versions of Business Central are supported?

The Connector works with both the cloud (Saas) version of Business Central, as well as its on-premises variant (version 15+).

Which Therefore™ license do I need?

You need the license for the Therefore™ Connector for Business Central. If you had previously licensed the Therefore™ Connector for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, this license will work for the Business Central connector, as well. No additional connector license purchase
is necessary in this case. Simply upgrade and install the new connector.
